5.07.01 Medical Packages

  1. Choose one or more carriers for the selected package.
  2. Choose up to three carriers for the selected package (Wrap/Slice).
    1. Selecting the primary carrier disables carriers unavailable for the Wrap package.
      1. Note: The primary (first carrier) determines the carriers available for the Wrap package for comparable packages based on Plan Maintenance rules.
      2. Current and Renewal packages available wrap carriers are not limited.
      3. Output Disclaimer: “You have prepared a wrap quote (2 or more carriers for one package). Our quoting engine may not have the ability to verify eligibility. Please ensure your group meets the quoted carrier’s wrap underwriting guidelines for plan selection, participation, and employer contribution.”
    2. Other carriers are not available for selection after choosing three for a package.
    3. Deselect a carrier to choose a different one.
  3. Deselect a non-primary (2nd/3rd) carrier:
    1. If you deselect a non-primary carrier in a wrap package with no plans selected, the carrier is removed.
    2. If you deselect a non-primary carrier in a wrap package with plans selected, the message below appears noting that carrier and associated plans will be removed.
    3. Select Cancel to cancel the carrier deletion.
    4. Select Continue to delete the carrier and selected plans.
  4. Deselect a primary (1st) carrier:
    1. If you deselect the primary carrier in a wrap package with no plans selected, the message below appears noting that the package and all selected carriers will be removed.
    2. If you deselect the primary carrier in a wrap package with plans selected, the message below appears noting that the package, all selected carriers, and plans will be removed.
    3. Select Cancel to cancel the package deletion.
    4. Select Continue to delete the package.
